Today we made our escape from the crazy house. After breakfast, I wrote a polite note saying that we got the dates wrong and had to go. It was better than saying "your dad cant run a restaurant to save his life. This place is dangerous to customer's health". So off we went on the bus to the local crain center. It was out of season so the really friendly guide gave us a tour around the the captive craines - in English! It was a really interesting place and I learnt a lot about the craines. After we headed to the hotel in Kushiro. Kushiro town is a little bleak. Its mainly a slow fishing town with a major train station in so there are lots of roads....just nobody on them. But at least our hotel room is really good.
