Sapporo

Yesterday wasn't worthy of a blog entry, was about 12 hours of trains.
Today we got up at our cheap hotel and headed out to find the open-air architecture museum. Well, we headed out but Ed hadn't got very detailed directions so we had a stroll around but didnt find it. In the afternoon we had lunch at Odori park which was very pretty and then headed to the botanical garden for a walkaround. It had a small Ainu museum as well, but it was literally just a few cupboards and a video on loop. Walking around Sapporo wasn't majorly exciting but its a nice city, the weather was good, and its laid out on a grid pattern so we appreciated being able to find places quickly.
We are heading out tonight to find Sapporos famous corn and butter stock ramen. Sounds really good! But I have a feeling we will end up with a cheap eatery dinner which I also like doing.
